International Women’s Day

Honoured annually on March 8, International Women’s Day (IWD) was the result of a Women’s Rights gathering in Copenhagen back in 1910, when organisation leaders proposed a date be marked on calendar’s worldwide to symbolise and promote achievements by women.

Last year, the #EachForEqual campaign coordinated the IWD Photo Competition, highlighting that “photographers and industry can all play an important role in helping forge a more gender
