You don't need to be an expert to say that photography is all about light. If the light is not right, the beauty of a landscape, of an object or person will be lost, returning a dull image with little effect.
This week’s challenge is about creating interesting shots of bright and shining subjects: think bright decorative lights, reflecting glass, or stars in the sky. You will realise how photographing light is something more complex than framing an image and pressing a button. Looking for the right balance between ambient light and decorative lights, not using flash, and the use of a tripod are all elements to take into account when photographing luminous subjects.
