4 hours a day on my mobile? You must be kidding!

When was the last time that you looked at one photograph or painting for over 4 hours? We’re betting, that unless you’re an art critic, the answer is probably, never.

The reason we bring this up is that, according to a compilation of mobile usage reports, that is the average amount of time that US adults spend on their mobile devices. Now, we’re not too dissimilar to our friends across the Pacific so these figures could quite easily be representative of us in NZ too.

We understand that social media, emails, watching movies and reading articles will take up a large percentage of those 4 hours but what do you see when you’re switching between applications? It’s the same home screen with the same image and isn’t that just a little, well, dull?
