Without being able to go to my favourite nature spots, I'm looking more closely at who is living in my garden. I'm fortunate to back onto reserve here in Wellington, so we have many birds visiting. Vantage points for photography are more difficult though, and all the birds seem to disappear as soon as I get the camera out! I'd love to hear about who's visiting your garden and if there seem to be more birds about in your area during lock-down.

Certainly a lot more Fantails - but that might just be autumn. They keep coming inside too. Marlborough Sounds. Also more Kereru.
I noticed more Silvereyes flying around and I didn't see them in our backyard before. Quite interesting what happens with nature as soon as people disappear :)
